Comfort Care — Support, Peace & Dignity at Home

At Attentive Quality Care, LLC, we understand the importance of providing compassionate support when a client is living with a serious or life-limiting illness. Our Comfort Care services provide non-skilled home care focused on helping clients remain comfortable, safe, respected, and supported in the familiar surroundings of home.

We recognize that every client and family has different needs, wishes, and routines. Our Home Attendants provide personalized support according to the client’s Plan of Service while working alongside the family and the client’s hospice or healthcare team when applicable.

What Our Comfort Care May Include

  • Personal Care & Comfort: Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, positioning within the Home Attendant’s permitted role, and other activities of daily living.
  • Companionship & Emotional Support: A calm, compassionate presence, conversation, reassurance, and companionship for clients and their families.
  • Medication Reminders: Reminders based on the client’s established medication schedule and AQC policies. Medication concerns or changes in the client’s condition are promptly reported.
  • Meal & Hydration Support: Assistance with meal preparation, eating, and fluids according to the client’s established needs and instructions.
  • Mobility & Safety Assistance: Support with walking, transfers, approved mobility devices, and fall-prevention measures.
  • Comfortable Environment: Light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and assistance maintaining a peaceful and comfortable living space.
  • Observation & Reporting: Home Attendants observe and promptly report signs of discomfort or changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate supervisor, family member, hospice, or healthcare professional.
  • Family Support & Respite: Dependable supervision and companionship that allows family caregivers time to rest, attend to personal needs, or spend meaningful time with their loved one.
  • Support Alongside Hospice: When a client is receiving hospice services, our Home Attendants can work alongside the hospice team by following the established Plan of Service and reporting concerns to the appropriate hospice professional.

Comfort Care is about helping clients experience dignity, compassion, peace, and meaningful support during a sensitive time. Our goal is to support both the client and their family while respecting the client’s preferences, routines, and wishes.

Attentive Quality Care provides non-skilled home care services. We do not provide medical pain or symptom management, skilled nursing, hospice services, or medical treatment. Clinical care and symptom management remain under the direction of the client’s hospice or licensed healthcare providers.
